Pop Production

In addition to being a modern classical composer I also have an equal interest in pop music. This interest lies mainly in songwriting and production. That is "production" in the proper sense of the word. In short, a proper "producer" is an individual which is responsible for creating a desirable and outstanding result of the pop music recording process. The producer thinks and works on many different levels and this complex web of multi-tasking is what attracts me to the practice. Considered are the strength of the songwriting, the relevance of the material in the context of current trends and the collective vision of all parties involved during the course of the project. The producer also tightens arrangements where needed and guides the musicians to achieving their best performance on each track of each song.
